Easter family fun @ Leeds Castle

Easter Adventures with Robin Hoodie and Maid Marion at Leeds Castle 14th to 17th April 2017

Look out for Robin Hoodie, Maid Marion and a merry band of naughty outlaws in the grounds of Leeds Castle for a fun filled 'Walking Theatre' adventure of silliness and laughter - perfect for all the family on Easter Bank Holiday weekend Friday 14th to Monday 17th April 2017. Entertain the children with an Easter Quest finding clues across the estate for a chocolate prize from 1st to 17th April (£1 charge applies). There are plenty of reasons to visit Leeds Castle again and again with your annual ticket during the Easter holidays from the winding Yew Maze, two adventure playgrounds and daily falconry display.

During Easter weekend Leeds Castle is calling for Merry Men and Merry Maids to help save the day; Robin Hoodie has lost Maid Marion and Maid Marion has found the right wicked Sheriff of Nottingham, but who needs saving from whom?! Visit the Pavilion Lawn for shows at 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3pm for one hour promenade style theatre show shows that will take visitors on a journey through the woodland walk. Throughout the day children can enjoy making their own Robin Hoodie or Princess hats to wear on their adventure.

From Saturday 1st – Monday 17th April seek out Easter clues hidden around the Leeds Castle grounds on a fun Easter quest for all the family. Answer all the questions and receive a chocolatey treat at the end (£1 charge per trail card).

The gardens at the Castle burst into life in the spring and there is plenty of wildlife to spot including black swans, grey squirrels and kingfishers to name but a few. Children can take part in a Wellie Walk for splish splashing fun during Easter with an exciting spy sheet, check website for timings (included as part of your annual ticket). For fantastic souvenirs and delicious treats don’t forget to pop into the gift shops, cafés and Fairfax Restaurant during your visit this Easter.

Entry to this event is included with your admission ticket. Admission tickets cost £24.50 for adults; £21.50 for seniors and visitors with disabilities (carer goes free); £16.50 for children, £13.50 for children with disabilities (age 4-15 years), under 4s free. Leeds Castle is located near Maidstone in Kent just off Junction 8 of the M20 within easy reach of London. Grounds open at 10am daily and the Castle is open from 10.30am. Last admission is 4.30pm and gates close at 6pm from April to September, while last admission is 3.30pm and gates close at 5pm from October to March.
